Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Monibu app, published by tuwenti. By using the app you agree to them.
1. What Monibu is
Monibu is a gamified personal expense tracker. It helps you log spending and build a habit. It is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Coach reactions are entertainment — funny, sometimes blunt — not professional guidance. Decisions about your money are yours.
2. Your data
Monibu stores your data on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for your device and for any backups. Deleting the app or resetting data is permanent.
3. Subscriptions (Monibu Pro)
- Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription: $4.99/month or $39.99/year, with a 7-day free trial where available.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Prices may vary by region and are shown in-app before purchase.
4. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app: no attempting to break, reverse-engineer for malicious ends, or use it unlawfully.
5. Intellectual property
The app, its coach characters, artwork, and content are owned by tuwenti and protected by law. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app; you don't get ownership of it.
6. No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will save you money — that part's on you (and your coach).
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, tuwenti is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
8. Changes
We may update the app and these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
